WaterWipes receives Skin Health Alliance dermatological accreditation
WaterWipes have been specifically developed to be as mild and pure as cotton wool and water, to help maintain the important skin barrier function of the stratum corneum, while offering the convenience of a wipe. They are perfect to be used on newborn and premature baby’s skin and are made with 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract. In fact, 97% of midwives and health visitors aware of the purity credentials of WaterWipes would recommend the product.
The Skin Health Alliance dermatological accreditation provides an independent and professional endorsement. It provides consumers with the reassurance and confidence that the accredited brand takes their scientific and clinical research seriously and genuinely cares about promoting the importance of healthy skin.
WaterWipes proved to an independent team of dermatologists that their wipes and accompanying claims are evidenced with robust scientific and clinical research. They also recognised WaterWipes as meeting international regulatory standards for skin care , sustainability and environmental concerns.
Commenting on this achievement, Dr Emer Gilligan, Regulatory Manager, for WaterWipes, said, “Looking after babies’ skin is at the heart of everything we do, which is why, as the world’s purest baby wipes, we believe only the purest and simplest formulation should be used on baby’s skin. We are thrilled that the Skin Health Alliance has awarded us this accreditation. WaterWipes are committed to creating products for the most delicate and sensitive skin and to have independent experts validate our science and research too, is fantastic.”
