Bio-Oil awarded skin health alliance stamp of approval
Already a favourite with consumers, the specialist skincare oil for improving the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone can now proudly display the ‘dermatologically accredited’ mark to reassure consumers that Bio-Oil has been independently verified by experts as a brand that believes in taking research seriously and promotes healthy skin.
The SHA mark is an independent assurance that products have met a standardised set of skin safety requirements that are not set by the manufacturer or brand, but which have been agreed upon by leading international dermatologists and skin scientists. The SHA scientific committee who reviewed the research on Bio-Oil agreed that the research undertaken and the trials carried out into Bio-Oil met and on occasion surpassed the standards required for this prestigious award.
